We at the Nikke Group believe that such trust is based on sincere management, as well as truly ethical behavior that meets or exceeds the demands of compliance.

To this end, we have established the "Code of Business Ethics" and the "Standards for Corporate Behavior," in order to introduce frameworks of operation that take business ethics as a prerequisite for all day-to-day activities, so that all employees of the Group will continue to live up to the valuable trust we have earned.

The Nikke Group sees preservation of the global environment as one of our primary responsibilities, and in 1993 we set up the Global Environment Committee to address this issue. With a basic environmental policy of "striving to be a corporate group trusted by society as both environmentally friendly and ethical," the Nikke Group has formulated three guidelines for action and four priority measures to follow in the course of our corporate activities, with the intent of creating a more affluent and livable society for everyone. In every field, from research and development to manufacturing, engineering, sales and distribution, Group employees are proactively engaged in environmental preservation activities.

Nikke strives to fulfill our role in society through participation in local events.

As a business with strong ties to the community in all our business locations, including manufacturing locations, offices, and shopping centers, the Nikke Group places a strong emphasis on making contributions to communities by participating in and sponsoring local events, offering factory tours, and other activities.

To further strengthen our bonds with communities, we have opened regional offices in Kakogawa, Hyogo Prefecture and Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, cities containing many Nikke business locations. These offices work in close conjunction with local chambers of commerce, community associations, and other local organizations to make contributions to regional development by boosting local economies and strengthening communication.
